Shake It Off

i think that the house will stay standing if we make it properly with the right materials. and one without the right materials.

we will experement with the house to see what works best and what materials are strong. we will use google to see why certain materials might do certain things, or making reactions.

the independant variable is the materials we change on the weak house and the strong house. this will determine if it can withstand an earthquake.

Procedere

We built two house that are the exact but one had spounges and one did not.We put a sticky note in the middle of the roof and put a 150 grains of rice on top of each sticky note then we used a masseg gun and put it thourgh a PVC pipe and then put the mode to tweanty and then tured it on!

Observations

On the first house the one that had spouges no grans of rice came off and the one without had 80 piecies come off.

Analysis To make sure we had the right amount of rice on the house is we pulled out the rice then we counted 150 grains of rice indivually and when they fell off we did the same thing.

Conclusion

Are hypothesis was corecct beacause we said that the spouges would absob the vibration and the other house with no sponuges would not and the rice would go everywhere and make a mess.

Application

if we want to explore this topic more we would explore different hights of a building

Throughout this project, we originally wanted to take a massage gun in hopes that it would take the house down. Howevever, we found that we build the house two strurdy with materials/hot glue gun and the house did not fall down with the experiment.

We used google to explore how to build a house that will asorb the vibrations.

We are thankful for our parents support in helping us to pursue this project. With their help, we were able to build two models of houses out of wood.
