How Does Knowledge of Climate Change Correlate with Human Behaviors?
CSEF · 2026 Behavioral & Social Sciences (Senior Division)
Overview
Climate change is one of the biggest issues we face today. This project investigates how the knowledge of climate change can correlate with human behaviors. The purpose of this project was to see if change can be made by learning more about climate change within high school science classes to help resolve the issue of climate change. Research was conducted through a Google form gathering students’ knowledge and action surrounding the topic of climate change. The data showed that there was a correlation between the knowledge and the action a student took. These findings suggested that the topic of climate change should be talked about more often to create change for our future.
