Overview

Our project focuses on developing a tool that supports paralyzed patients and patients with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) We aim to enable patients to use the eyes as a means to communicate with the outside word, also be able to somehow control basic needs like turning on and off lights, fan,The objectives of our project are: 1. To be able to use the eyes as a means to communicate with the outside word. 2. The device should be portable and be cost effective. 3. The device that we will invent should also be able to somehow control basic needs like turning on and off lights, fan, etc. 4. The device should be non-intrusive in anyway and not cause discomfort to the user/wearer when used over extended periods of time 5. The device should be able to “understand” when the person needs it and only then should it interact with the person. 6. The device should be wireless
