Electrifying Algae
CSEF · 2002 Pharmacology/ Toxicology
Overview
Objectives/Goals To find the effects of electromagnetic fields on algae cells (cyanobacteria). Methods/Materials Get the algae in test tubes and expose them to electromagnetic fields (EMF). Results The algaes in the test tube with more coils shrank the most algae. Conclusions/Discussion We concluded that our hypothesis was correct. In our experiment we found out that electromagnetic fields do have an effect on cyanobacteria algae cells.
Summary statement
In our experiment we applied electromagnetic fields to algae and and it showed that EMF can kill an entire algae
