Do People Prefer to Drink Bottled Water or Their Homes Water Source in Idaho, and Why
Overview
Elijah Carey The goal of this study was to learn what type of water Idahoans drink most and why the choose to do so, in hopes of being able to use this information to help better the local environment or reduce the amount of reusable plastic in our landfills. Students/Parents participated in a survey in which it asked what region of Idaho they live in, whether its rural or urban area, what kind of water source does the house have, and what type of water they drink with proper reasoning. I used this information to create a thorough analysis based off of the participants answers. All in all, the project is pretty simple in terms of procedure and data collection but very informative and the information can be used for a lot of beneficial things for Idaho. In conclusion, this data supports further research in how to reduce plastic use and to inform Idaho residents of the safest and most environmentally friendly way to obtain drinking water.
