An Investigation of the Combination of Y15 and Metformin for the Treatment of Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Cancer

ISEF · 2024 Translational Medical Science

Overview

The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of Metformin, the effect of Y15, and the combinational effect of Y15 and Metformin for the treatment of platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC). The results of this study demonstrated that both Metformin and Y15 have dose-dependent effects on cell viability, and IC50 for Metformin is much higher than Y15, suggesting that Y15 is more effective in inhibiting cell viability. The combination treatment significantly reduced cell viability in PROC OVCAR 3 cells. These findings offer promising insights into exploring this drug combination for the treatment of PROC.
