A Splotch of?

Overview

The purpose in this project is to interpret the way our minds warp as we become older and more mature. Children are more often said to have bigger imaginations than adults. Through the following experiment we will determine the truth behind that statement. I will be performing an experiment using adults and children varying in age. I will use six flashcards with a different ink splotch from the Rorschach tests. By giving each test subject the ability to see the card without any distractions, I will record the answer of what they think the picture is. The first answer provided by the subject will be the one recorded. I expect the children will have more original answers than the adults because they have not been told things have to be only one way to be correct. They are open to anything when it comes to opinion. After performing this experiment I found my hypothesis to be exactly true. The adults had mostly the same answers as each other with few original. Whereas the children had endless of-the-wall ideas of what these cards depict.
