Overview

Objectives/Goals To extract usable energy from ocean waves and find out which types of waves will create more energy. Methods/Materials Wood, Plastic Sheeting, Copper Wire, Neodymium Magnets, Water, Voltmeter, Metal Rod, PVC Pipe, and Corks. Results Small quick waves produced more energy, peaking at 160.56 mV. Conclusions/Discussion We concluded that the small quick waves will produce more energy than the large slow ones in the ocean.
