The Smart Glove
ISEF · 2015
Overview
Our vision is to try and make communication easier for the disabled people who cant hear and speak using an electronic glove that translates Sign language to spoken words and phrases. our project is a pair of special gloves which disabled people wear in order try and communicate with people, the glove collects data from sensors and switches built into it and a program translates that to spoken words when a disabled who knows sign language tries to communicate with people who don't know sign language it gets pretty hard for any of them to understand anything, so the glove receives the signals and data from sensors within it and translates from sign language to spoken words (in English) Our Objectives are: -helping disables communicate with the outer world easier -making sign language more understandable to normal people -making use of LABview program and what we learned so far
