Overview

The Psychology Behind Choosing a Leader My project explored how social influence, different situations, and personal beliefs affect how people choose their leaders. To study this, I created different scenarios and asked people to choose between leaders who had different strengths and weaknesses. I also compared how their choices changed depending on the situation they were in. I found that most people chose leaders based on their personal values, even when there were outside influences or possible bias. This suggests that people can still think independently when making important decisions. This is important because the leaders we choose can affect our lives in the long term, and understanding how we make these choices can help us recognize bias and make more informed decisions in the future.
