Proto-Bot
ISEF · 2016
Overview
The purpose of our experiment was to build a a robot that dispenses medicine to people using and image recognition sensor. To do this we used two programming codes called Windstorm EV3 and Pixymon. We thought when building our robot design that a simple looking robot with two spinning wheels attached to motors would be able to accomplish our goal and prove our concept. What our final robot design does is use the image sensor on the front of the robot to recognize a certain image on little cards to spin a specific motor that dispenses medicine. For our prototype we only had two different motors and four balls representing medicine. We chose this project because of the huge application our project could have in schools, homes, and pharmacies.
