Precision Nutrient and pH Regulation to Maximize Chlorophyll Synthesis, Root Development, and Water Efficiency in Crops

CSEF · 2026 Plant Biology (Senior Division)

Overview

This study examines a precision nutrient and pH regulation method designed to improve plant growth and resource efficiency. As global food demand increases, crops are often grown in conditions that reduce nutrient availability and disrupt soil balance, lowering yield quality. In a controlled experiment, a targeted nutrient solution was tested for its effects on chlorophyll production, root development, and water retention. Results showed a 75% reduction in watering frequency while maintaining adequate moisture and promoting healthier plant growth. Increased chlorophyll levels indicated improved photosynthetic efficiency, while stable pH conditions supported stronger root systems and better nutrient uptake. These findings suggest that precision nutrient management can enhance crop performance while conserving water. This method provides a sustainable approach for agriculture, especially in drought-prone regions, and may help improve food quality and long-term farming resilience.
