Number Patterns and Power-Difference Triangles
ISEF · 2018 Mathematics Fourth Award
Overview
In this project, it is investigated a problem of exploring of the rule of number patterns. In fact, the problem is to find general term of the number sequences, if we have some consecutive terms of the sequence. We assume that distrubition of the given numbers are polinomial or exponential or combination of them. In the project, first, we give some definitions for the solving of the problem such as power-difference triangle, left cross, snail, left loop, formula solution table. Then we provide our method how we can find the general term of the sequence.
