Integrating OCR Technology into a Business Card Wallet

Overview

With our goal of creating a method in which anyone can instantly share business information through a mobile application, we discovered the intricacies and implications for machine learning technology in the realm of informational accounting and data transfer. Using text recognition software, we could program a method in which the camera on IOS devices could recognize physical text and import it into our application’s storage. Through our trials and errors, we found that text recognition works seamlessly and efficiently along with manual user input of data into our storage systems to create what could be the way we share information and interact with real-world objects in the future.
