Do Pollution Levels in the Los Angeles River Increase as It Moves through LA County?

CSEF · 2008 Environmental Science (Junior Division Only)

Overview

Objectives/Goals The purpose of our project was to find out if pollution levels in the Los Angeles River increase as it moves through the Los Angeles County. Before beginning our science project we knew that the Los Angeles River was not clean. We wanted to gain enough knowledge about the river, to be able to share the information with the public so that we can help clean up the water quality of the River. We wanted to find a way to help both the residents of Los Angeles and all our local sea creatures.
