Color Memory

CSEF · 2026 Behavioral & Social Sciences (Junior Division)

Overview

This experiment tested whether sheets of paper in primary colors (red, yellow, blue) improve memorization of shape locations compared to those on white paper. Participants studied a grid of shapes for 30 seconds, and then reconstructed the grid from memory for only 60 seconds. Results showed whether color influenced spatial recall accuracy.
