Children's Monitoring and Safety in Indoor Environment

Overview

The children in preschool age spend, at least, six hours in the school. The safety of these children is an aspect that more concern the parents /guardian as well the education professionals. The product/project that we developed has its main purpose end with these concerns. We developed a system that allows doing the monitoring of children in the many spaces of the institutions that they are attending. The system is allowed to identify any children, as well as the space that they are. The system has a safety element too that will act immediately if a child cross over a certain physical limit, security barrier, or whenever the bracelet is removed without authorization, being able to trigger the blocking of doors, gates, etc. Each child will be used a bracelet develop by us which together with several sensors, receivers and actuators, allow putting the whole system in operation.
