Association Floral of the Nectar Thief Bombus terrestris (Linnaeus, 1758) (Hymenoptera: Apidae) and Its Degree of Dispersion in Magallanes, Chile

Overview
Bombus terrestris is a exotic Pollinator introduced with commercial purposes , and in the last years has colonized and invaded a large part of Chile and Argentina. The first report in the nature data around 1998 and 2006 in Chile and Argentina, respectively. One the other hand, in the Magallanes region, Bombus terrestris was reported in 2013. Its rapid expansion is associated with the reduction of the native Bumblebee B. dahlbomii, Guérin-Méneville. In this work is carried out a (1) comparison floral among bumblebees not native and native of Magellan. B. terrestris presents a floral association with 66 plants, while B. dahlbomii presents 87 associations. Of these, 34 species have overlapping visits. In addition are reported for the first time associations of B. terrestris with Chiliotrichum diffusum, Trifolium repens, Berberis ilicifolia and Senecio smithii. (2) in addition is reported to B. terrestris as thief of nectar of Fuchsia magellanica, punching the nectarios between an and three times. (3) is estimated that the grade of dispersion of B. terrestris is of 80 km / year, it expansion geographical of this Bumblebee invasive is reports until out Froward, to the South of the Peninsula Brunswick, including passing them channels of the region coming to port Williams.
