An Exoskeleton Glove for Increasing the User's Physical Performance.
AJAS · 2026 Biomedical Engineering (inferred)
Overview
The project focuses on the development and construction of an exoskeleton glove, or “exoglove,” to enhance human strength, particularly in the wrist and fingers. The idea arises from the growing demand for devices that augment human capabilities, especially in physically demanding industries. Key research questions include whether a high school student can replicate such a device based on publicly available blueprints and whether the device will demonstrate high durability and resistance to external impacts. The methodology involves 3D printing the parts, assembling mechanical and electronic components, and conducting durability tests. These tests will focus on the glove’s material strength and resilience under conditions of high humidity and its ability to withstand impact and force loads.
